Social Affiliates is a Magento extension that allows any site visitor to invite his friends to that site by means of Facebook, Twitter and email shares. This Magento plugin can be an absolute way to promote the sales factor of any online store by increasing site visitors. It is both the stores and customers getting benefited with this kind of module. When a user refers a friend to a site, he will be provided with some credits, which he can use for his further purchases. The user will also be credited when a friend referred by him makes a purchase on the store. At the front end, any logged in user can view the following details:

• Available Credits: Displays the list of credits received so far
• Upcoming Credits: Displays the list of credits you have in pending. Say for example, if your friend has purchased a product and still has not closed his order, then the credit for you is still on pending.
• Total Earned Credits: Displays the sum of available credits and upcoming credits
• Used Credits: Displays the so far used credits, while making a purchase

The admin has control over the entire details of all registered users, the credits they have received so far, the transactions they have made so far and even the sources that let them to receive those credits. Admin also has options for tracking the referral process of a customer; that is the number of referrals made by a customer

Is there any options in back-end for tracking?

Yes. Admin has options for tracking the referral process of a customer; that is the number of referrals made by a customer.

Does the social affiliate plugin include a link for a referral?

The customer could be referred either by email or through a broadcast link. The broadcast link can be found in the Your Invite Link. It is a unique referral link that can be broadcasted to your customers’ friends and associates.

How does the Social Affiliate module track referrals?

The tracking process generally looks like this:  a registered customer sends an invitation to his friend. It may be a personal invitation or a broadcast link (which is the same for each friend)  the referred person follows the link and gets to the website. The website puts a cookie to the browser of the referred person. The cookie lives until the browser tab gets closed  at that moment, the referred person may go for signing up with the website. In this case, registration routine recognizes the cookie and the user is assigned as a referral to a certain affiliate (who has sent the invitation)  if the referred person leaves without going for registering, the cookie disappears. If he comes back to website by a simple link and signs up, he doesn't become a referral. However, if he comes back by the invitation link, the same cookie is set again and he becomes a referral if signs up.

Does the Social Affiliates extension allow automatic sending credit amount to bank accounts?

The idea is that your customers refer their friends to your web-store and get a fixed discount or a percent discount on the referral purchase on their own purchase in your store, that's all.
